The vision for my artwork is motivated by my desire to understand the complex relationship between humans and nature and explore the concept of the fragility of the human condition if society continues on the path of dominating nature and the exploitation of our natural resources.

Capitalists and Environmentalists are on either ends of the spectrum regarding their relationship with the natural world. In the capitalistic realm of society, nature is seen as a commodity to be used for human consumption with no regard for sustainability. Humanity has found itself within a device paradigm in which technology is within, without, concealed and far removed from nature. The simulacrum of nature is an accepted mimesis. Environmentalist's relationship with nature is based on the survival of the planet, thereby the possibility of the survival of humanity. These relationships with the natural world ultimately determine the way we as individuals, communities, and societies think about and act toward the world we live in.
Ultimately, nature will survive regardless of humanity existence.

My art is the new contemporary landscape of experience and relationship attempting to connect humanity with the climate crisis.
